would you be (upset) if that happened and it was led by guys like Dvorsky, Stenberg, Hollywood, Thomas, Snuggy? If those guys decide to drive the team into winning, I'm not going to get angry about young guys developing especially when they are playing against teams that are trying to make the playoffs.todd-parker wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 11:52 am Dalibor Dvorský scores for Slovakia in their Olympic opener. Yeah I would for 2 reasons. For starters, I want a talented, high end prospect to add to our team going forward. And secondly, I don’t want to give Army any room to think it’s ok to run this group back out again next season. We need to move on from Schenn, Faulk, and Binnington at a minimum.callitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:00 pmwould you be (upset) if that happened and it was led by guys like Dvorsky, Stenberg, Hollywood, Thomas, Snuggy? I wouldnt deal Schenn from a team with a weak constitution but i agree Faulk, Binnie, Joseph, Fabbri, Fowler can all go in my viewThe Average Gatsby wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:06 pmYeah I would for 2 reasons. Need is a strong word. Who's going die? You're advocating for moves that will happen in due course anyway, and you may not be seeing the optimal course. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:06 pmYeah I would for 2 reasons. Re: Dvorský scores Olympic goal
I’m very glad that somebody posted this although I would’ve preferred that every time a Blues player is in a game, I hope somebody creates a GDT a few hours in advance so the game can be watched from the beginning.
Also, I’d appreciative if somebody does a GDT for the USA because of my country GDT for Canada games since they are our direct competition typically and has two Blues players
At the moment, I don’t know what time the first USA nor Canada game is and sure hope somebody posts in advance.
Thank you that would be appreciated

This team is 2nd to last in the NHL. In the highly unlikely event that dvorsky, snuggerud, stenberg, etc turn into all stars and power them to the cup after the break I would welcome it. But in reality the thing the blues need the most is top end talent and picking high in this draft is a very good way to get it.IsDurbanodoingtime wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:23 pmYah. Don't get this. I’m not suggesting that we should be bad to get a high draft pick. I’m saying we ARE bad so let’s get that pick to try and change that.

I’m not sure why you want to be the grammar police here but the word “need” gets used in contexts other than life and death all the time. My kid needs to mow the lawn, I need to go to Home Depot, I need to see that movie but I haven’t had a chance yet, etc.DawgDad wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:23 pmNeed is a strong word. Who's going die? Schenn, Faulk, and Binnington are all depreciating assets that are too old to be a part of the future so there’s no reason for us to hang on to them. Faulk in particular is having a good season so let’s strike while the iron is hot.
But for the record I am psyched that dvorsky scored and I’m going to check out the highlights of that game now.

Re: Dvorský scores Olympic goal
I read your comment that you would be upset if those young guns drove the team to winning. Maybe we are not as bad as our record suggests especially with our younger talent. I would love to see this team deal some veterans and stockpile picks and yes get a top five pick. But I am not going to be upset if a post trade deadline team minus traded vets starts winning especially if what is leading the way are young futures. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 13:11 pmThis team is 2nd to last in the NHL. You can get game days and times for teams with Blues players on the Blues app.Russdv14 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:30 pm I’m very glad that somebody posted this although I would’ve preferred that every time a Blues player is in a game, I hope somebody creates a GDT a few hours in advance so the game can be watched from the beginning.

Re: Dvorský scores Olympic goal
As long as we're sellers at the TDL and add picks/prospects to improve the team down the road, I won't fault the guys for anything they do afterwards. The team on the ice is supposed to go out and win the game. If a team minus some combination of Kyrou, Faulk, and/or Schenn, manages to go on a tear so be it. I doubt even with a hot streak they manage to work themselves out of the top 10 so will still be a good pick.

Re: Dvorský scores Olympic goal
All I was suggesting, is that you don't know what the roster composition looks like and how it can grow moving forward for a multitude of reasons. 1, the Blues haven't been playing their best goalie the majority despite having a winning record when he plays. 2, The defense was poorly mishandled by Army in thinking that Tucker was a capable defender that could be paired up with a very green Mailloux. It's evident that Suter was the reason Tucker played well last year. Massive oversight. 3, You have no idea what this offense can look like when healthy with the young guys contributing in the lineup. How many games has Dvo, Stenberg, Snuggy, Neighbours and Hollywood been in the lineup together this season. 0, (unless I'm wrong on that 1 game Hollywood came back, can't remember if Stenberg was sent back down yet). If those guys become lightning rods and energy sources that balance out the other guys who have been injured all year in Thomas and Suter. All the sudden you have a VERY VERY interesting team, and that's without the inclusion of Schenn/Kyrou/Buchy, working off the assumption that someone is traded. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 13:11 pmThis team is 2nd to last in the NHL. Here is a very real thing that was brought up by JR yesterday. As of the Olympic break, the 16 teams that would be in the playoffs, 0 of them have over 2m in cap space available. Explain to me how a trade happens outside of Faulk/Suter/Binner or the other UFA guys?. It's really hard for the Blues to eat the rest of those caps.

I'm not seeing where the game is being shown. What channel is it on?
