freebird was rockin. it really is a great goal song for USA.

This is more offtopic but I do have a dog in the fight and have a real care for it. I really hope all this NCAA F'ery doesn't start impacting womens sports and the ability to play them at the collegiate level. For that matter, all sports at the collegiate level. The reason USA is as good as it is in these sports is because there is a dream and opportunity for them to strive towards. And we see some athletes benefitting that monetarily now too. CFB is CBB are doing their best to F it up for everyone though (not the players, the committees and power that be.) It will really impact the USA on the olympic level if they fail to support it.

I heard something similar with China somehow involved, that not only is hockey going away in Canada, but so is the Stanley Cup. I don't know how that could possibly happen. I mean if the China hockey team is allowed to play for the Stanley Cup and good enough to win it maybe. I don't know where I heard that or even what it means. Sounds pretty far out there though. If you guys know something more give us all a heads up.

USA played a scrappy, and the game, in total, was competitive and rough. Love it!
