I’ve seen this all over FB. A heck of a lot more than Wallstedt would be coming back, that’s for sure. But it’s another one of those “rumors” that is not a rumor - it’s just fan speculation.

Blues have Hofer as the future until we see what Love Harenstem offers in 4-5 seasons...we don't need Wallstedt, but if we did I wouldn't trade Thomas for him unless he came with Brock Faber, who we need.

I couldn't see Thomas going for less then a top ten, another first, and a teams top prospect. Thomas has to be the best long term value in the NHL. That kind of value has a price.

The Blues are not dumb enough to trade their best player for a goalie.

Augestine or Cossa, plus like 3 more pieces (like two of Danielson, Kasper, Nygard, Bear, ASP), and a 1st.

I think by next season we will be. Hofer will be a very solid Blues goalie for years he may be the goalie for Canada the next time the Olympics roll around

I see almost zero chance that we trade Thomas to a division rival. But Minnesota does have some young center prospects they could package with Wallstedt to make it interesting. But none are ready to really help the Wild now and I’m not sure any are good enough to tempt the Blues to trade Thomas.

Thomas has averaged 74 games a season the past 4 years including playing all 82 games 2 years ago.
