Re: Fleetwood Mac Rumors
I would agree.
The first Boston album to me is top 3 all time. Just 8 songs total and everyone knows them because everyone played the album 24/7 when it came out.
Very underrated album but one of my faves….is Asia’s “Alpha”. It was their second album with”Don’t Cry” on it. Not near as popular as their debut album…but I liked it much more.

Loved that first Boston album. My Freshman year college roommate always played that while drinking our first beer Friday afternoon to start the weekend.Bubble4427 wrote: ↑07 Feb 2026 16:09 pmI would agree.

I go back to the Beach Boys, before the Beatles. Later, after moving away, I introduced ALL of my friends to REO, it shocked me people had never heard of them! At one point we played the heck out of Another Mother Further, the Mother's Finest album with Mickey's Monkey. It STILL echoes in the back of my head. Frampton Comes Alive. Free Bird, Ram Jam. Party music. I also have a playlist for traditional Christian Music. Sex, drugs (ok, just alcohol), rock and roll, confess and repent (rinse and repeat?).
I skipped most of the 80's and 90's and virtually all of the 2000's. I discovered some good music I'd missed by watching The Sopranos, asking my daughter where that came from. Bourne and Moby, that's how I connect now, through movie music.

I would like to add Huey Levi’s and the News “Sports” to the list of great albums.
Re: Fleetwood Mac Rumors
Loved Rumors. My favorite album though is Lynyrd Skynyrd"s Second Helping. All 9 tracks are amazing, i.m.o..

1975's "Fleetwood Mac" album is a touch better than Rumours for me. Regardless both are great great audiophile recordings now you can listen to both in 24 bit. Also "Buckingham Nicks" is another gem to listen to. Mid to late 70's was a monster era for HOF level releases.
Re: Fleetwood Mac Rumors
Rumours seemed to span a wide spectrum. My Black R&B/Soul fan roommate loved it, actually bought the album. His close friends liked it, too. Saved me the money until I picked up a new girlfriend who loved that album.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑07 Feb 2026 19:15 pm 1975's "Fleetwood Mac" album is a touch better than Rumours for me. Lot of real "from the heart" stuff on Rumours. Or maybe from the dagger sheath?

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love.
Re: Fleetwood Mac Rumors
Can't talk Rumors without stopping in ’86 and pointing at the Timex Social Club.
Which always takes me to this classic by Bobby Jimmy and the Critters.

Ohh darn, I thought the Rumors were that they were being traded for REO Speedwagon, or Tuna Fish..... Is that an E4?
