Army transition to Steen
So how do we transition from Army to Steen? The move is not happening as we all first envisioned it, where Army slides down off his white horse, and Steen uses a ladder to climb on.
I'll write the movie script...
Army: "Injuries are to blame", things are not nearly as bleak as they appear.
Army: You all know Steen. Love him. I've trained him well. I'm confident that he will continue the Blues way. We got this.
Army: And our scouting and coaches are all great, so they stay too.
Army: And of course, I will still be "around".
Steen: We are headed in the right direction. I'm looking forward to it.
Steen: Thank you for your fan support. St Louis has the best fans.

Yeah, premise of the thread is interesting. ASOGG opening comment was similar hateful drivel. I’ll ignore his comment and add few of my thoughts.
Army:
- he’s already stated this season is a disappointment and in his own words, embarrassing
- he’s willing to trade anyone, but some of that is smoke. I do feel a few TDL deals will be made though to clear some spots to ensure guys like Berggren and Stenberg are in the lineup every night the last 20 games or so
- Steen should involved in those, but not sure if he will have strong input or not
Steen:
- Should be the clear voice in the draft
- Will be the GM for any draft day or summer trades
- Ott was the first domino. I think he will work with Monty to clean house on the assistant coaches
- It will be his team my mid summer

How do "WE" transition?
Did I miss something? "WE"? My input and effort consists of opening a beer and flipping to the right channel.

Knew who started the topic without even looking. Even better, I have no idea what he said since he is on ignore.

I guess I don’t understand your reasoning for even being here. You come here, give us your opinion on the Blues, then act like it’s our thoughts like any of us think like you.
Take some time and enjoy whatever it is in your life that you have to enjoy. You fill up BT with your drivel weekly, daily, hourly. Please go find something that pleases you. Your wife, your kids, your work should all be sources of happiness and inspiration. The people here on BT really don’t enjoy your menial contribution but you might have something for your family or something to contribute to your job. Think about how much time you waste here.

It will be interesting. The Cardinals changover has looked different, just have to see how Chaim does with FA money.
Re: Army transition to Steen
All you gotta do is replace the word "Army" with the word "Steen" in all your mindless drivel rants

Re: Army transition to Steen
I'm discouraged to see that no one will say what needs to be said about this transition, so I'll say it.
What is going to happen:
No admission of doing anything wrong. No promise of new approaches. Blame it all on injuries. Change nothing except the name on the GM door.
What should happen:
Replace Army and his scouts and pro personnel with an aim towards fixing what is broken.
We shall see how this transition is handled.
