Yep, and that’s not the first time. He isn’t the next captain. Too many holes in his game still. He needs to concentrate on the hockey part before he takes on that role. It may come in time, but he isn’t ready and that goal is an example why.

It was a good game… Binny made some spectacular saves… kept us in the game… I am not sure why people are so unhappy this is the best case scenario good game and an eventual loss

That was Neighbours, Buchnevich, Kyrou, Parayko, and I believe Tucker. Tucker got pulled over to the middle to help on the 2-on-1, Benn was left wide open behind Neighbours and Buchy. Buchnevich had carried the puck behind the Dallas goal while guys were changing, he had to come all the way back up ice and didn't quite make it. Great pass and shot, those guys are dangerous. Blues have to be better.

Yes, on that play he just let Benn go. Kyrou, Buchnevich, Neighbours isn't tough enough defensively to be a top line. They leak.

Have to wonder if some of the players have money on the game…and not in the Blues favor

Snuggerud was a positive note. Mailloux was playing with poise. Dvorsky has had better games.

Since regular season trends tend to carryover into the postseason be grateful these spectacular losses are contained to 82 games.

On the bright side, the Flames just beat the Oilers, so they pull 3 points ahead of us! Tank baby tank!

Nobody on this team is tough enough defensively.

How can you be sure he wasn’t doing exactly what he was supposed to do in that moment?

Position on the ice. Kyrou did somewhat disturb the assignments because it forced Neighbours to take the far side when he went zooming across, but bad recognition and straight legging back into the zone and reaching a stick out half-heartedly means he was essentially zero covering in the play

I was in disbelief so just took the time to watch replays of that last goal.i thought Binner was out of position til I rewatched how the puck got to Benn. Heiskanan (39th assist -not too shabby)so skated down the left side from
His zone into ours and could have shot or passed it to #18 up the middle so Binnington was in position on the right side of the net. It took the perfect pass to Benn (where was man to man coverage there?) to execute that shot which would have taken Binner great luck to stop. We had all 5 in our D zone , which was good, but it must have been Neoghbirs Jan as he was closest to Benn.
Watch a replay though. Did anyone else think Benn might have been offsides?
