Also with 3 picks in the top 50 and 6 in the top 86, another opportunity to strengthen that farm system. I know patience is a virtue and I don’t have a lot of it but there’s some things to look forward to. Most aren’t looking forward to 2026 and most aren’t painting the rosiest of pictures for this season but I’m looking forward to seeing this group grow.

Also with a payroll of a scant 65 million dollars there is room to invest in the teams future. The wait and see is tough but hopefully there’s a silver lining out there.

Rock, I appreciate your knowledge and enthusiasm. After so many years of ownership indifference, it is difficult to trust them. I grew up during Gussie’s best era, 1960’s, and summers were fun, because he tried to win and loved baseball. The 1960 Yearbook has a picture of him shagging flies during spring training! I know he did some crazy stupid stuff, like trading Carlton, etc. Be well, everyone. Too cold in Columbus.

It's just nice to see the FO and ownership actually committing to a direction. Straddling the fence was the worst strategy. They got fooled into thinking 2006 and 2011 was the model - sneak in and anything can happen!

Tigers big 3 are all on the same team, promoted at the same time. Should be in the majors sometime this year....and they have Bryce Rainer and Jordan Yost to take up their slack.
