“Worst loss” of the seasons is this now?
Re: How many …
That was a great loss, lots of goals and fun but still kept our draft position.

I 100000% agree people b…ing about losing when we are in now way close to a playoff team… are just griping to gripe… we need to lose as many games as we can, if they don’t realize it to this date they’ll never get it

Its still an embarrassing loss even if you are rooting for a tank.TampaBlues78 wrote: ↑02 Feb 2026 23:59 pmI 100000% agree people b…ing about losing when we are in now way close to a playoff team… are just griping to gripe… we need to lose as many games as we can, if they don’t realize it to this date they’ll never get it

Re: How many …
One good draft isn't going to save this team - the good news is that they'll probably have a top five pick next season too. Good luck shaking off this level of suck...
Re: How many …
does it matter. at this point we are going to lose dead weight and get assets. Then we will pick top 3 and get ivar stenberg or mckenna or the dman
faulk- gets a 1st +
schenn- gets a 1st +
Kyrou- hopefully gets wright and fiddler from seattle.
top 3 pick hopefull enough for ivar>
whatever else we trade who cares. Carbonneau will be our new power forward. Snuggy dvrosky and O stenberg take strides moving forward and hopefully buchy keeps it up. OUr d needs to inprove some how and hopefully Maill can improve

Re: How many …
No losing 6-0 is an embarrassing loss… the blues hit about 3 posts and had several really great chances to put it away… the preds got some real ugly goals that should not have went in… I thought it was a really good game.. for half of it, it was one sided for the blues, than the preds took over and when they did we still could’ve had like 3-4 goals… but anyways still glad we lost amd trust me I DO hate saying that… but it’s what will help this team in the long runJeff Goldblum wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 04:55 amIts still an embarrassing loss even if you are rooting for a tank.TampaBlues78 wrote: ↑02 Feb 2026 23:59 pmI 100000% agree people b…ing about losing when we are in now way close to a playoff team… are just griping to gripe… we need to lose as many games as we can, if they don’t realize it to this date they’ll never get it

Re: How many …
This team is as depressing as the teams during the Ralston ownership. Saskatoon, here we come (remember?)

Re: How many …
Those were some depressing days weren’t they!!. Tanking is one thing, imploding is another. Losing 3-2, 2-1 throw in the odd 4-2 occasionally is at least not embarrassing.
Re: How many …
I disagree. Those teams didn't have Devo, Jiricek, Carbs, Otto and Lindsein in the pipeline and missed and entire draft. This team does, and should have a top 7 pick and maybe a few extra late first or 2nds.
Re: How many …
I hate them for what they did when they cashed out on the Blues. Absolutely hate them. That said . . .Bluesbacker wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 12:55 pm

Ralston produced what is still to me the second most enjoyable team in Blues history, the 80-81 team. Injury bug bit them in the playoffs, but what a run that was in the regular season! That was the coming of age of Federko, Sutter, Turnbull, Pettersson, Dunlop, Zuke, Patey, Micheletti, Liut, and company. My first date with my future bride was in 1980, hockey game!
Re: How many …
That 80-81 season was great. I think they pushed so hard to finish first overall that year and when they fell just short they were out of gas. They barely squeeked by the 15th place Pens in round One and the whole team was flat against the Rangers.
The only injury of any significance was the mysterious Virus that kept Turnbull out of the entire postseason.

Also having Dan Kelly, in his prime, calling those games. Made the Hockey even that much more enjoyable. We were a fun team that year, but I do not see us taking the Islanders down. They were in the middle of their dynasty. Billy Smith, Potvin, Trottier, Bossy, Tonelli, etc...they were a stacked team in those years. Would have been great trying though.
