If JJ impresses immediately, then he's an easy pick...especially to showcase the young guys. MLB drools over being able to promote their brand with recently drafted players....Kurtz, Cags, Skenes, Langford (Rangers), JJ, etc

Not sure what latest rules are but I am under the impression that each team must have at least 1 representative.

Assuming he puts together a pretty solid offensive season, ideally building off of and improving upon last season, he may be the only Card that warrants consideration.

Correct. That’s why I asked who it could be. Lots of time a bad team has a pitcher to just meet requirement but I’m not sure this team will have a picker good enough. The Cardinals very few good players are in loaded positions. Maybe they just take a Burleson or Hererra type as a DH
