I've seen it three times already. We went twice last night and just got home from the matinee today. This is the Godfather, Citizen Kane, Inglorious Basterds and Ben Hur all rolled up into one grand epic film directed by the incredibly talented and still can't believe he got cancelled for diddling young'ens Brett "Scorsese" Rattner. The cameos by Al Pacino, Stevie Wonder, Dame Judy Dench, Bill Clinton, all of the surviving members of the 1980 USA hockey gold medal team, Weird Al Yankovic, Will Ferrell, tennis legend Jimmy Connors and Brad Pitt were all such wonderful surprises. Sorry for the spoilers, I guess I should have used the spoiler feature. Apologies to the board.

Everyone should run, not walk to see this work of art. It's beautiful. She has a compelling story the likes that not even Clark Kimble could post about. An immigrant who married a future President, the American dream come to life. We laughed, we cried, we gasped, we wept over the course of a compelling 1:50 minutes which frankly was far too short. I would give it 7 stars, an A++++, 11/10. If this movie doesn't clean up at the Globes and Oscars next year it will be the greatest travesty in the history of our planet. We will be seeing it again this evening and tomorrow.

I went this morning to the 10am showing. After the movie, I sat in my seat in quiet refection of the beautiful cinema that I had just watched. I was lucky to get a seat, I bought my ticket from a scalper outside for just under $1,000 and some Trump bucks. I have never cried so much, laughed so hard, reflected on my life so much, and needed a change of pants while watching the same brilliant piece of art. After watching for the 3rd time in a row today, I immediately drove to Georgia and helped Tulsi take back the stolen 2020 election, and then watched it again in a small town outside Atlanta, another full house, more tears, more cheers, and total satisfaction by a crowd of probably 2,000-3,000 people. I wish I could put into words all of my feelings on this epic piece of cultural art, but there are not words, as we know it, known to mankind today. I know one thing, you won't be able to watch this masterpiece just once, that will be impossible. It only gets better, stronger, and more well-crafted after multiple viewings.

My life has changed. You should go see it so yours' will too!

Melania’s appears an entirely airless existence, in which she glides solo about gilt corridors in silence, David Lynch-style, observed by tight-lipped heavies....

She dislikes anything baggy
About 30% of the film is devoted to high-stakes fittings for her inauguration outfits. “My creative vision is always clear and it’s my responsibility to share it with my team so they can bring it to life,” Melania explains in voiceover. This translates to her telling them to cinch stuff in. “More tension, tighter,” she commands a collar. A coat needs to skim nearer her hips. A hat brim is reprimanded as “a little bit wiggly-woggly”. “I don’t know if we can cut it,” frets one assistant tailor about a blouse, to stressed violins on the soundtrack....

She and Barron are very close
Melania’s son says not a word in the film, but is seen in much of the final reel, bending gently like he’s cosplaying Igor. At one point his proud parents discuss him in the back of a limo. “He’s cute, we have cute conversations,” says the president. “Yeah, I love him,” his mother reveals....

Her favourite artist is Michael Jackson...

Melania will not revolutionise cinema
Anticipation was high that the sum ($28m) paid by Melania to herself for not just starring in the film but producing it and overseeing much of the post-production, including the trailer and marketing, might result in something fresh for an art-form struggling to surface new voices. Sadly, such hopes will be dashed....

Interesting look at the German filmmaker/propagandist who maintained throughout her life how she was unaware of the atrocities happening due to her bestie, AH, during WW2. Upon hearing that guy for the 1st time at a rally in 1932, she reacted " “I was somehow captured, as by a magnetic force.”

Draw any parallels that you seem fit.

I've never watched five seconds of Colbert or Kimmel but you otherwise nailed it. Sure hope you and your kin folk enjoyed this work of art.
