Finally. A light at the end of the tunnel. It might be a locomotive, but it’s still a light.
First business- temperature check. How cold are ya? 27 here.
February. Super Bowl next Sunday. Then pitchers and catchers between 10-13 February. Then Daytona 500.
That puts us to ST games. 17 February.
Seems like a bit since final out of WS. And a long cold winter.
In the winter time. When the leaves are brown. And the wind blows.
February!
It will be a long boring summer of baseball.
I think The Mo induced PTSD CT crowd have forgotten what a MLB Season is supposed to be.
Put the best team on the field, go compete and WIN
Having a loser Manager who was extended so he has NO PRESSURE TO WIN
Sitting on 80mil while the ML club requires talent to compete
And then acting like nothing can be done about the first 2 above because they have to draft and WAIT on prospects who might not even make it……
Finally. February.

we are between Nashville and Knoxville we have not lost any power .... got 1/2 inch snow the first storm .. then got 1 inch overnight Fri. to Sat. that's been it
Tennessee is a very long state west to east ... 500 miles 7 hr. drive from Memphis to Bristol, Tn . (northeast corner ) so a snowstorm one place may not be in another ... same in spring Tornadoes in Nashville area seem to hit now and then ... knock on wood on the plateau here we have not had tornado touch down n 15 years of living here

Then. As baseball gets really close, we have March madness.
So what this all means is- October, November December January are gone. February is here. Finally.

Re: Finally. February.
2 more months in Mesa AZ before returning to IN. 74 F was the lowest high this week. 3 days in the 80's coming week.
Feeling for you guys up north.
Mesa is Cubs ST camp. In the 5 years I've wintered here, the ony time I spent watching the Cubbies was when the Redbirds visited late March '24 on the way to LA opening. Cards won both games. I brought my Cubbie fan daughter and son in law (living in Phoenix) to the game and took just a little verbal pleasure in the beatdowns.
Looking forward to progress in '26, both in St Louis and the various minor league camps. I think our farms should fare well this year.
