Finally. February.
Good morning.
Finally. A light at the end of the tunnel. It might be a locomotive, but it’s still a light.
First business- temperature check. How cold are ya? 27 here.
February. Super Bowl next Sunday. Then pitchers and catchers between 10-13 February. Then Daytona 500.
That puts us to ST games. 17 February.
Seems like a bit since final out of WS. And a long cold winter.
In the winter time. When the leaves are brown. And the wind blows.
February!

February weather sux. Fortunately it is the shortest month.

with every paper I'd deliver
bad news on the doorstep
I couldn't take one more step"

8 degrees at the moment, the good news is little or no wind. So for the moment we don't have the minus 15-20 degree wind chills. Our high today is supposed to be 21. Our first predicted chance at above freezing is next week when they hope we make it to 32. Snow maybe on the ground till ...... well who knows. That's all from north Ohio.

4 degrees here in the St. Louis area. My neighbor went on vacation to Florida this past week. Talk about bad timing.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑01 Feb 2026 07:11 am Good morning.

Seriously. First day of Spring training for you will be a stretch. I’d also bet, that March-April games in Cleveland Cincinnati and Pittsburgh will be colder than normal.HorseTrader wrote: ↑01 Feb 2026 07:53 am 8 degrees at the moment, the good news is little or no wind. I think The Mo induced PTSD CT crowd have forgotten what a MLB Season is supposed to be.
Put the best team on the field, go compete and WIN
Having a loser Manager who was extended so he has NO PRESSURE TO WIN
Sitting on 80mil while the ML club requires talent to compete
And then acting like nothing can be done about the first 2 above because they have to draft and WAIT on prospects who might not even make it……

I believe they will spend in time. The current state of the team provides nothing for a trade. Nothing to make that difference.Goldfan wrote: ↑01 Feb 2026 08:26 amRed, you’re not excited to WATCH this Rebuild?? The FA market is expensive. That and the lockout probably coincide with an opportunity to scale back and reevaluate things.
