The EDM offer sheets had absolutely everything to do with the future considerations acquired in the Hayes deal.
A bit off topic but anyone else remember when they showed that in arena Hayes “tribute” on the broadcast when he came back with the Penguins? That was super awkward.
Barely any claps and Hayes didn’t even seem to know whether to wave or not. Why’d they do that?

I bet they are copying the Cardinals. Cards do this too. Not just for Pujols or other studs. There will some random guy who played SS for a year and a half before he was a throw away in a trade. Comes back next year in a Padres uniform and the fans go nuts. It's bizarre.
I remember that Hayes thing too and thought the exact same thing.

Just don't respond to Theo and Grass let him talk to himself.
IT is the same Bot. There's a reason this version of the BOT is so simplistic in Army hate. It's all IT's computing power can do. The other version just throws darts at random Blues players and starts hating them. Both have very small beta levels of compute power.
I would say in the end it all worked out. The Penguins became willing trade partners, Blues dumped a roster spot and were easily able to acquire their 2nd round pick back and get Dylan Holloway. Seems like a pretty good run of events there.

A more fitting tribute would have been to just put a small video clip on the jumbotron of an announcer reporting that the Blues just gave away a high 2nd round pick to get rid of Army’s blunder.

THIS ^^^^^
The cost to ditch Hayes and his contract was a Round 2 pick. That lost Round 2 pick ended up in the hands of Pittsburgh in 2026 who used it acquire Chinakov.
The dots are simple to connect for anybody except one of Army's moms.

Chinakov is next to worthless….
And why are you crying….its a 2nd round pick. You think that there is no one worth drafting unless they are in the top 5.
