Note to Blues: No more Classic Style Uniforms
I'd like to see our record by uniforms this season. Teams are kicking out butts when we wear the new Classic Style uniform. They must feel soothed when they see the pastel-colored blue.

So you think we’re wearing flaming red and blue tonight for the win!

Need to go back to last year’s uniforms. Not only were they the ones we won the Stanley Cup in, they were simply the best looking with the 2-tone royal blue and navy.

It was an unnecessary and pointless change in the first place. There wasn’t no need to fix something that wasn’t broken.

No way, I absolutely love the new light blue color scheme. Id prefer we just get better players (and a better coach if need be), and get back to winning that way.Hazelwood72 wrote: ↑29 Jan 2026 20:47 pm Need to go back to last year’s uniforms. And I realize everyone’s jokin about the team suckin in certain color schemes.
What I DO think would look badàzz tho as far as uniform colors, is to mix the light blue with a darker blue and 2-tone it up. Id even like to see a multiple blue and white uniform, a d scrap the yellow all together. Ahhh the possibilities are endless.

PREACH!!!! I hate the powder blue. It reminds me of Saskatoon, and, bad hockey. I'm too young to remember anything more than snippets of that. I loved the old ones, I hope next year they give us a new 3rd. Throwback to the '91-'94 era.hockey jedi wrote: ↑29 Jan 2026 20:57 pmI agree. I like what you proposed with the 2-tone blue. I go back to 1968 as a 14 year old rooting for the Blues. Fell in love with the team in the uniforms they’re wore then, which are almost identical to the current ones. But when they went to the 2-tone blue like our previous uniforms, I realized they’re just better looking.
So, if you took the current lighter blue, and added a darker blue accent and darker blue hockey pants, I’d like that.
In general, I don’t like monocolor uniforms, which is only an issue with home uniforms. Detroit, Toronto, Tampa, LA, Seattle, current Blues all have a relatively monochrome home kit. The Blues, at least, has more gold (yellow) to break it up. But I’ve always preferred when the hockey pants had a different shade for contrast. The worst are the all-black like LA. Some of the Kings previous jerseys were great, but their Gretzky era ones are just bland, dark and boring.
Cheers,
Same Old Hazelwood

To each their own as you won't ever make everyone happy. I love the new uniforms ..........they are not the problem.

100% agree. Loved the previous, greatly dislike the current!!TAFKAP wrote: ↑01 Feb 2026 14:55 pmPREACH!!!! I hate the powder blue. It reminds me of Saskatoon, and, bad hockey. (Money grab by the team of course knowing how some people MUST have the latest to show off.)

Completely agree.
I think the new uniforms are top 3 in the league...
Unfortunately, our team's play is in the bottom 3 of the league.
Uniforms are not the problem...

I would imagine everyone understands that the league likely makes every team do updates every so often so that jersey sales don't become stagnant.
I mean we understand that right?
