At this point, shut down all the injured guys for the next 4 games and give them the extra time off for the Olympic break. These are important guys, either as young core players, or tradeable assets. Let them heal.

This guy can’t stay healthy and needs a contract. Will be interesting to see what happens over the summer

I think the biggest issue with that is, I don't know if we have enough warm bodies between springfield and the big club to actually rest anyone that is banged up but CAN play.

There is no way it's long term right - it's gotta be a bridge contract of some sort.

That's what I would expect.

I think it absolutely has to be. 2 years 4.5 million is probably where it lands.

I think about Schwartz and Fabbri, two different cases. Fabbri of course had career altering injuries after showing great promise. Schwartz was a guy who missed a bunch of games in different seasons but was extremely valuable when healthy, a guy who could be a game changer. I'm sure we all hope Dylan isn't accumulating career altering injuries that impact his talent. If he's going to be more akin to a Schwartz the Blues might do well to endure his absences from the lineup.

I remember being a little stunned when Holloway was going to play last week. It was a couple of weeks early from the original prognosis. Ankle sprains are tough and take a long time to heal. I think this is something that he probably came back a little early. My guess is that if we had been in the race for a playoff spot he'd be playing. I think this says as much about the awareness of the teams position and the Olympic break coming up. Why rush him out to play a game or two. I also don't think he gets the same contract consideration as Broberg. I think they wanted Brogerg on a maximum contract and he wanted a bridge deal. I think it's the opposite for Holloway.

It’s common sense regarding high ankle sprains and long term healing required. At least he hasn’t been extended yet.
