Didn't read that either. Yawn.seattleblue wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 14:24 pm Jeff it's a clear pattern with you - your posts go after people. @ somni – thank you for the Hood River recs this weekend! we got a couple hikes in, one along a pipeline by the river and Labyrinth Falls on the WA side, then beers and fries at Full Sail. Broder Ost! Gravlax and hash. Great rec.

I noticed this new name was seemingly merging back into the discussion, accepted because he attacks certain members. But it's clearly a member here who isn't brave enough to keep posting under the old name, and it's just something to spotlight about this culture here, which is supposedly bad because of a couple other people, but is secretly bad because of the number of people who do this 'Jeff Goldblum' [shirt].MiamiLaw wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 15:12 pmHis hockey takes are casual at best anyways, though the vast majority of his posts are just him beefing with other posters. He either is not capable of having a real discussion or is playing a character who isn't. Either way, nothing is missed by ignoring him.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 14:52 pmSays he joined 12/5/25, posts aggro b.s., moving on from another oneseattleblue wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 14:24 pm Jeff it's a clear pattern with you - your posts go after people. That's the only thing that made it worth my time to spotlight. and when I saw him doing it to you, who is a straight shooter and has established that over a long number of years, that's a chance to make the point to others so this toxic coward is seen better. Some people have higher tolerance for it than others. I have a higher or lower tolerance at different times. I guess I don't have a tolerance toward this guy, now.

Yea, definitely either a past poster or a double handle for someone who wants to role play being a dick.seattleblue wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 15:35 pmI noticed this new name was seemingly merging back into the discussion, accepted because he attacks certain members. This isn't a big site and is kind of a dusty corner of the internet at this point, so 90% of posters here have been here for years and years and not many new people are going to be attracted to posting on a site like this. It's the reason this is the only place I really actively post. I would guess the average age of posters on this forum is far higher than most other Blues forums/Reddit/etc. I always found it fascinating that we can all watch the same thing and have such differing opinions, so I never understand why people get so worked up when people have a different viewpoint.

Exactly - I think the differences of viewpoint can be a strength. Hockey teams go forward in a choose your own adventure style fashion so the clash of ideas is not a threat, it's a value for sharpening ideas (provided you're comfortable with critical thinking). There's another good Florida poster I knew in another place named Stealth JD you remind me of him. Very similar understanding of defense philosophy.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 15:45 pmYea, definitely either a past poster or a double handle for someone who wants to role play being a dick.seattleblue wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 15:35 pmI noticed this new name was seemingly merging back into the discussion, accepted because he attacks certain members. Stealth JD definitely used to post here regularly. On the rare occasion I pull up the HF Blues board, I normally see a few others that used to be regulars here.

Scouts didnt miss anything every single person whos commented on Mailloux asserts, like many young dmen, need NHL reps. This is exactly what we are seeing. But we can keep rehashing the same topic over and over and overMiamiLaw wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 07:19 amI hope so. Mailloux was not nearly an unknown to the hockey world. Even most Montreal fans could tell that he wasnt ready. Now most Blues fans say the same thing.
Congrats Blues fans. You know more than Army.

Kind of strange to quote a post from the first page of a 13 page thread that has clearly run its course. It's like when George Costanza thinks of the "jerk store" comeback way after the meeting is over.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 15:11 pmScouts didnt miss anything every single person whos commented on Mailloux asserts, like many young dmen, need NHL reps. I think this thread covers just about everything anyone could ever want to read about how people in this forum feel about Mailloux. You're not sucking me back in Harry

Re: Mails shouldn’t be in the NHL right now
Mailloux has 100% been improving hes been OK more or less lately made a really nice pass last night. Sure a puck bounced off Binnie, off of Mailloux's leg into the net. Not sure thats worth hemming and hawing about.
