Soccer overtakes Baseball as 3rd most popular sport in USA

any ways, I find it funny that the boring MLS has overtaken the boring MLB.

Perhaps I missed it but I didn't see where it was specific to MLS. I think global (European) soccer is likely what's driving that - with a bit of MLS.

yeah I agree with you but they try to push the messi and mls had on it pushing it over the top.. which I'm sure Messi did have a big impact

but EPL and Champs League has been doing well for years now in the States.. and with the World Cup coming up as well in the summer


and there is certainly more Liverpool fans in the USA than there is of any specific MLS team for example. same with some other big clubs

The casuals are what put it over the top. It was well planned and well executed

Which is interesting that MLS moved their tv to Apple TV. I guess not enough people signed up for Apple TV.
