Re: OT: Sad news for Rasmus Dahlin and fiancée
There is a wonderful organization in our area that can have an impact to help them heal:
https://nationalshare.org
I found out about this organization through a friend over 20 years ago whom was a member of a Group for which I was the President at the time. So, we made a contribution to this SHARE organization for a memorial in the "Baby (Last Name)" name of one of our group's members whom had just lost their child similarly. A couple of weeks later, I got a call from him when he received notification from SHARE. I will always remember the comforting emotional impact that it made upon his wife and him... his tears and gratefulness. As a man, I've always struggled with what to do, how to respond when you hear of a miscarriage, or any similar loss of a baby. Now I know what to do.
I share this story about SHARE in the hopes that someone close to the Blues or hockey world can relay the message. And I also share it with all of you as well, as it really can make a difference in your life, or someone else you know.

on the other hand, this is extremely personal news and should not be shared. Why does everyone need to know everyone elses business?BleedingBleu wrote: ↑27 Jan 2026 07:28 amTerrible news. Not only that, but from a poster with a moniker that makes fun of Juan Encarnacion, who was hit by a foul ball as a member of the Cardinals that led to him losing an eye and ending his career. F'ing jerk.aslord wrote: ↑27 Jan 2026 13:04 pmon the other hand, this is extremely personal news and should not be shared. Maybe, but I’m sure he and his wife could have kept it quiet if they preferred. Based on how the NHL reports injuries, I’m sure they’d qualify the recovery from a vasectomy as just a “lower body injury.”aslord wrote: ↑27 Jan 2026 13:04 pmon the other hand, this is extremely personal news and should not be shared. Since I have him on my Fantasy Hockey the last two years and get regular roster updates, I was aware of his wife’s health. Even that was fairly non descriptive, with only the story his wife had a heart related medical episode while on vacation over the offseason. That came to light when he left the team earlier in the season because… I assume… the transplant.
I don’t think I knew it was a transplant until now. So, I imagine they’d qualify shared it willingly since the situation had been evolving and now the Sabres actually find themselves on an upswing.

So when chase gives a public health update … nobody talk about it here. That sucks. First, wife needs a heart transplant then they lose the baby. Must be very heartbreaking for them.

The player who plays most is pacing for 20ish points. Little to do with Dahlin…does that help you?BleedingBleu wrote: ↑27 Jan 2026 20:59 pmWas Dahlin ever made available for the Blues? I don’t get the comment. The Blues had the 25th Pick when he was taken #1 Overall.
Make it make sense…

You arbitrarily brought up Philip Broberg in a thread about Rasmus Dahlin & his wife losing their baby. You’re just an a-hole.
