I’m not convinced we’re that far away.
Over the past 130+ games the Flames have more points.
I’m sure a couple of their fans are saying the same
And the Flames haven’t made the playoffs since the 2021/22 season. The Blues got in last year. It’s a meaningless stat
The blues won a tiebreaker with the flames last year. What an accomplishment.
Over the past 130+ games the mighty flames have more points
Correct, it was an accomplishment to qualify for the playoffs. Calgary didn’t, and likely won’t for the 4th straight year.
Maybe Calgary would have qualified had they won just 1 of the games against the 2024/25 Blues, but they didn’t. Calgary got swept while being out-scored 10-5.
They can’t even blame the Blues being on the heater, because the Flames didn’t play St Louis after January 16, when the Blues were just 22-20-4.
So, whine about the tiebreaker, but the Flames got their skates kicked out from under themselves by going 0-3-0 and being outscore by a factor of 2 against the Blues
And the blues had the biggest collapse in their history
That doesn’t change that the flames have more points over the past 130+ games
Another 10 minutes of my life I’ll never get back after reading this thread. Not taking the bait anymore….foe once again sadly becomes my friend again.

Why do you move him?
So you didn’t watch? Because they talk about the reasons lol
I guess nobody could disagree. “Lol”.
Which reasons given did you disagree with?
Well, after listening to the idiot explain why he thought a quarter cup of chili flakes on a piece of fish was logical, let alone entertaining, they then get to he hasn’t figured it out. Tells you what you are dealing with. You aren’t going to get fair return on Thomas, I’m not trading him. When was the last time stl had a center that was plus point per game?

What part blew your socks off?
Blowing my socks off? Armstrong said he’s on the table. Berube said he doesn’t care and questioned his heart (publicly). When was the last time stl said that about a C publicly.
You can act defensive but at the end of the day both sides are unhappy … that’s what happens … and is happening.
Dreger talking about it
Rutherford talking about it

Yep, the Blues had the President’s Trophy Winner on the ropes with a mere second left and couldn’t close the Jets out on the Road. However, Calgary couldn’t even get into the ring, let alone go 7 rounds. They had to watch the playoffs on the couch.

Why wouldn’t they? It’s real
defensive? I’m not trading him unless they get a crazy offer, and I don’t see that happening.

Maybe that’s worthy of a banner in Nashville, but arbitrary stat doesn’t mean anything.
I’m sure Calgary fans would like to get past the Second Round one day, but that hasn’t happened since the 2003/04 season… when Robert Thomas was 4.

I don’t see that happening.
I agree. But the adds to the frustration for people. They’ve been trying to trade Kyrou for years.
The Blues are in a hot mess…and it’s self-imposed.
Nobody is throwing a drowning Armstrong a life preserver
Faulk is the only player we’ll get any value out of. It’s a pretty sad situation.
I dunno. I mean a contender isn’t getting Faulk for big minutes. The league knows who he is. There wasn’t much interest league-wide when he was available previously.
