Is this a weak draft year? Where would the top 3 slot in last year’s draft or any other recent draft of note? Here’s hoping that if the Blues slot #1 that it’s not a tweener year like EJ’s.

It's a strong draft year. Better than last year, but probably not as strong as 2023 when Bedard, Carlsson, Fantilli, Michkov, etc were drafted. There's a lot of talent in the top 10-15 picks, and some exceptional talent in the top 5. It's a particularly deep draft for defensive prospects. A top 5 pick would be great.
