Walker’s last 2 penalties have directly lead to 4 goals! Insane

For a reminder vs Tampa his offensive zone penalty with around 10 seconds left in a Blues penalty gave them a short 5 on 3 where they scored quickly. Then Tampa scored on Walker’s original 2 min tripping penalty.

Love Walker but man that’s rough. Tucker was brain dead on that PK. Has me thinking that Tucker is on this team because of how insanely soft it is, particularly how soft the defensive group is. Long story short, Tucker shouldn’t be on the PK. Either should Faulk.

So when is Hofer going to be talked about like Binnington? Hofer sure did not have the post covered…. But then again look who was shooting.Mark Schieffle has always been a precise shooter.

Hofer has been the best goalie in the league for a stretch. He is allowed to make a mistake occasionally.

Oh mf! Man Kyrou almost put that in. I don't know how that stayed out.

Not trying to pick on Kyrou, but that play was an example of why the Blues aren’t a winning team. When the coaches say stopping on the puck, stopping at the net, that’s the film they should show. If Kyrou stops at the net, he has a tap in. Instead he flies across the front of the net and isn’t in position to score. Other teams stop in our crease. A guy like Sam Bennett scores that goal 95/100 times. Again, not just Kyrou, too many guys on this team do the same.

Just a couple months ago Hofer was atrocious, along with the rest of the team, which has remained bottom in the league with a shockingly bad goal differential. He's been better. The team has not. Best not to overplay him, get him smoked vs good teams, and ruin his confidence again during these prime developmental years.

Just one period. Sometimes the puck just doesn't find a player. Blues were ok 5-on-5, just ok they didn't score.

I get what you are saying but if this team wants to win, Hofer will have to play more. He's been great as of late. Another great save there!!
