Players get hurt like this quite a bit- doesn't mean he is soft or even injury prone. It's a bit silly to call a player with barely a full year in the NHL, injury prone... Now if this happens every year, then you may have something....
Very few players play all 82 games any more, especially those with lots of ice time. The more you play the more prone you are to get hurt.
