Broberg too. He looked junior B tonight.

Re: I think…
McDavid really picked on Broberg tonight. I think he’ll be better against other teams.
As for Kyrou , he is similar to many of our players. He moves the puck, but it seems like he doesn’t know what to do with it. It seems like hardly any of her forwards know what to do with it on so many plays. This group of players has just not gelled. This has happened since preseason so it sure makes me question the coaching staff. You have veterans Parayko and Fowler looking like they have no clue as to where to play on the ice. In my opinion, Parayko should’ve been on the right side when that one goal was scored. He should not have been on the left boards with the passer

Re: I think…
Wasn't it Broberg who kept draisaitl and McDavid without a shot for the first time in their careers earlier this year? I have no idea what the troll said because I have her on ignore, but im assuming it was some hockey dumb proclamation about broberg.

Yup...iirc nearly the entire game was played 5 on 1...Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 08:02 am Wasn't it Broberg who kept draisaitl and McDavid without a shot for the first time in their careers earlier this year?
Re: I think…
No reason Berggren should be sitting over others. Only other explanation is the name on his back and how he was acquired. Monty has definitely taken a big hit in my book this year. He doesn’t seem to have any answers. How can you watch this team night in, night out and make no true adjustments?Harry S Deals wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 08:40 am Stenberg, Berggren and Broberg are the Blues only "+" players but yet Kyrou plays while Berggren sits

Berggren comes in, immediately provides some energy, speed and a bit of a scoring spark--sits every 3rd game.
Texier waived and immediately starts producing on MTL's 1st line and PP.
Binnington continues to split time with a goalie outperforming him in absolutely every way.
Can't help but start wondering about him. Boston is even having a decent year...

I don't know. Depends on what line he was on that game. I would imagine they had a PP or two as well.BalotelliMassive wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 09:19 amThat's one of them...who was defending against the other?Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 09:01 amYeah our #1 LD probably wasn't out there against their #1C at all...BalotelliMassive wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 08:47 amYup...iirc nearly the entire game was played 5 on 1...Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 08:02 am Wasn't it Broberg who kept draisaitl and McDavid without a shot for the first time in their careers earlier this year?

Re: I think…
Idc at all about Texier id actually prefer Berggren if i had the choice. The decisions to keep running Binnington out there, he wont sit Kyrou who obviously could care less about winning and Montys odd PP personnel choices(keeps throwing an unskilled Buch out there over Stenberg). They are managing like they still think they are making a playoff run when they should be sending messages and grooming the young guysZiggy3 wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 09:03 amAgreed.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 08:49 amNo reason Berggren should be sitting over others. Re: I think…
Actually, the last half of that game they were together most shifts. The team played really well that game, particularly 55 and 6.Jeff Goldblum wrote: ↑19 Jan 2026 09:25 amI don't know. Re: I think…
Texier’s play looked hot & cold, but Berggren (& even the forgotten already, Fabbri ) were playing 200 foot games, and # 29’is a quick, fast skater.
I can’t figure Buch or Kyrou or even Neighbours out unless it is the lack of chemistry developed by this coaching staff or player personnel-Armstrong
