In the Finals, as a 22 year old, he played almost 18 minutes a night the first two games, which they lost by a cumulative 7-1 score. He was the only D man without a negative plus minus.
In the third game, down 2-0 in the Finals, he scored in the third period to bring them within a goal and led all D men with a plus one.
In Game four, when the Oil had their backs to the fricken wall, trailing in the series 3-0, he played 18 and a half minutes and was tied for the lead with a plus 3.
In Game five, the Oilers made it three games to two, and he played 17 minutes and was even.
Game six, the Oil tied the series at 3-3. Broberg led the entire team with a plus three and played almost 17 minutes adding a third period assist.
The fairy tale comeback ended with a 2-1 loss in Game seven. Broberg was even.

He never had a minus game...
