NCAA fbi charges name SLU
They are listed among the teams impacted. Does anyone know if this means we have players that were involved or if the games were involved because of another team's players?

Here's a link to the story:
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/rigging-co ... stigation/
"Games involving the following teams were allegedly rigged or impacted, investigators say: Alabama State, Western Michigan University, Butler, St. John's, Tulane, East Carolina, McNeese State, Nicholls State, St. Louis University, Duquesne, La Salle, Fordham, SUNY Buffalo, Kent State, Ohio University, Georgetown and DePaul."
A few A-10 teams on the list.

Looks like a SLU player shaved pts in the 1st half of a game against Duquesne in 2024

"The scheme allegedly involved Nicholls State players Oumar Koureissi and Diante Smith; Tulane’s Kevin Cross; unnamed players on Northwestern State’s team; St. Louis’ Bradley Ezewiro; Shawn Fulcher and Isaiah Adams at Buffalo; Jalen Terry, Da'Sean Nelson and Micawber Etienne at DePaul; and Kennesaw State's Simeon Cottle, among others."

Ezewiro only played at SLU for one year during the 2023-24 season - his junior year. Also played at LSU, Georgetown, and UAB.

A hell of a lot more of this going on, just not caught yet.

I voted against the gambling proposition for a myriad of reasons.
This is one of them but way down the list.
It's just so lame to legalize this "activity" and it will support the ruination of lives....innocent lives included.
Maybe it happens anyway but sanctioning this stuff is pitiful.

When the Mafia is involved in sports gambling, nothing good will occur. Prop bets are so easy to manipulate.
Re: NCAA fbi charges name SLU
I hate that gambling is allowed in the state of Missouri.
Can’t stand FanDuel commercials.

None of these bets were placed in Missouri or Illinois for that matter. If they were, then they would have been flagged immediately.dhsux wrote: ↑15 Jan 2026 17:51 pm I voted against the gambling proposition for a myriad of reasons.

I believe the bets were placed outside the USA.
