I don’t know whether to believe you guys or not
I don’t remember a record that poor last year. Now you’ll have me researching.

Except maybe Hofer will save us this time instead of Binnington

If that similar, can you post the individual goalie stats?

Mediocrity has a pattern.

Sometimes surprisingly good.
Sometimes surprisingly bad.
Oftentimes just ok.
Never great.

I’m hoping for change.
Save the hope and prayer for the next SCF G7.

Great work. A tale of two seasons, one went up, the other . . . TBD

Things are often not as good nor as bad as they seem in the moment. The injuries though are concerning, have to hope they don't take a lingering or lasting toll on the players and team.

This team is terrible…just like last years team. They can go on a 10 game winning streak but 5 games in the playoffs does nothing to help this team. They should be selling for as many assets they can acquire.

I do not totally dismiss your view but it is extreme to say playoff experience does nothing to help this team. Even four games of playoff experience impacts revenues and certainly benefits players with little to no playoff experience. Missing the playoffs as a result of strategic player moves might have greater long term benefit, though. It worked in 2017, for sure.

Didn't we have a back and forth last year about wasting a 2nd round pick (my position) for Fowler to stabilize the D (your position). My apologies if it was someone else.

I agree last year and this year's teams(and probably next) are not years to burn assets to improve the current roster on suspect teams. We should sell short term assets for better future assets to improve the team 3 years from now. Schenn/Buch/Kyrou/Faulk/Binnington are not players we want to see on this team 3 years from now so get the best assets possible for them. That could be young NHL players or promising prospects already in the AHL, but we shouldn't be turning our noses up on 1st rounders like Army implied earlier this season.

We do though still need some players for the prospects to play with which is why I'm probably holding onto Thomas and Parayko.

Agree. If we need to go on a magical run every year just to make the playoffs then this team just isn’t that good. It’s time to start rebuilding.
