Thomas 2 Week IR
Thomas being reevaluated in 2 weeks, which I guess means right up against the olympics. This gives the other guys who are returning time to jump in without sending anyone down. This truly is an evaluation year it seems.

Man, what a disappointing season for this guy

Re: Thomas 2 Week IR
it's just a depressing season from trying to make strides forward from the top 6 department. definitely been a positive from a perspective we are finding more about our supporting cast. but use the last 3 games. best 3 consecutive but went 1-2. that growth maybe happens a month ago but we can't stay near healthy enough for that to be possible.

At least he'll have some free time to work on his English...
Re: Thomas 2 Week IR
Who is next up, to look up at the heavens when something doesn't go right? To me, he doesn't seem as engaged as he has been in previous years. Regardless, our best Offensive player currently. Tough break.
Re: Thomas 2 Week IR
Blues shut out East's second best team Tuesday without The Thomas (no diss on him).
Based on how the season has gone, Blues will beat F-L-A (insert full Snapshot quote) and Oilers, but be creamed by Jets.

he's done that since day 1 he's been here. You are seeing it more because he is engaged and he's more overtly frustrated in his own game. Anyone who thinks this team isn't trying isn't being genuine. Go look at their interviews, go listen to the team. They are saying everything you need to know. They care about each other. They are frustrated with the outcome. But no one is giving up. That is what matters.
There really isn't much difference from this team and last years team at this time outside of a few games games in the record and not having Parayko and Holloway on their scoring tear. Last year, Faulk was not scoring. This year Parayko isn't scoring. From the forward group, we had neighbours come out hot, and Holloway played the most consistent. But Thomas had a slow start, Buchy had a slow start, Kyrou had a slow start, Schenn had a slow start. It was right around this time when the Schenn Holloway Kyrou line started turning it up. They played good for 35ish games until Holloway went down the last week. Thomas and Buchy? that didn't get hot until after 4 nations. I guess we had a little better goalie play but it wasn't tremendously better, it was just Binner being better. Hofer is turning it on and returning exactly if not better than he was last year. His start was disastrous so the season numbers are bad.
People keep claiming this is doomsday and saying people "aren't engaged". Our scoring was woeful last year until after the holidays, and our scoring is woeful this year. The difference is there was 1 forward putting more output than any of our guys and that was Holloway.
