The family schnoz. Daddy ratted out the Illini. Never liked the slimeball Bruce, but he could coach.

They did a lot of good things too, but a good team handles the ball better and shoots free throws better.
We really need Robinson especially to handle the ball better in crunch time. TO too. Both those guys acted like they’d never seen a press.

At the same time they both did a lot of good things too. Kind of sums up this team. Not perfect, but just enough good to win.

This should be a 7-man rotation going forward.

Phillips
Mitchell
Pierce
Stone
Crews
Robinson
Barrett

Boateng and the others in very limited duty.

With Stone and Pierce, Tigers beat ND and maybe Kansas as well. Stone is a player in every aspect of the game. Very efficient scorer.

Just need to go 7-7 the rest of the way to end 10-8 in the SEC. But with a 3-1 start, I'm greedy!

Never complaining about a win. They’re all good. This team just struggles in too many areas. Poor FT shooting. Poor decision making with the basketball. They just seem a step behind in many of the game situations. Handling the press tonight was disastrous. We don’t get open, we hold the ball too long, we put the ball in the wrong players hand too many times.

We are 3-1 in league play and really had a chance to be 4-0. Why does it feel worse than it is.

It’s winning ugly for sure. But, we’re
Tied for 2nd in the league and may be tied for
1st at the end of the night. Texas beating Vandy at the moment.

SEC is wide open this year.

Which basically means there's a ton of teams going through some rough patches...and ugly wins.....Texas did pound Vandy last night too.

I've got some issues with players and coach but not sure how ugly this one was. FT's much better....that full court press response was really bad and they knew it was coming. Boetang only got 10 minutes court time...seemed like an eternity.

Nice job an SEC win is always good!

Mitchell is so good at getting to the foul line. Last night he took 14 foul shots. Made 6. The that's gotta change.

Stone can probably play soccer too.

FT shooting. The team, except for 25, was 15-17. That is very good.

25 was 6-14! Everyone not named Mitchell missed a total of 2 out of 17 shots. You’d take that every night. But, dang, what has happened to 25’s FT shooting? You can’t sit him at crunch time like you can Phillips. He’s our best player. Now, it’s in his head as well as physical. Better get out the film and figure it out. Quick!

How many games has this atrocious team lost. All these sideline coaches need to go and apply for the job. Met two guys in the airport who are also living in the past. Your own high school, rec center, wherever, plays the same way as they use to play. Not even reality to think that things do not evolve. That is exactly why our beloved Cardinals are doing a rebuild. Ask Bluebloods Florida and Kentucky whether they respect this team that posters laughed, ridiculed, and said would not win a game. 0-18. Well, if they do not win another game this season, they have proven Every Nostradamus wrong. Things are failing so much in this region until even the glimmer of something positive is dismissed and miscast as failure. Missouri and St Louis need a Winner and Less Whiners

Seems HCDG was sending Ant Robinson a message last night. Either that or the guard was suffering from flu or something similar.

But, I think it was the coach sending a message - "play like I want or you won't play". What better way to drive home the point than to have Boateng getting your minutes.

For all the people talking about this ugly win, think about preseason prognostications predicting wins against Florida, Kentucky and Auburn. Missouri now has the tiebreaker against all three. And their fans are probably complaining about ugly losses. I'll take so-called ugly wins, thank you very much. There was much more to like about this game than there was to dislike.

Yeah, he was bad, but he's not bricking his FT like Phillips does. I know a miss is a miss, but his shots are not ugly to the point they have no chance. I think he will make adjustments and most nights he will shoot around 70%. I know that's not great but I have confidence he'll get more consistent.
