SPEED!!!! We are so slow compared to most if not all the teams we play. Kyrou looks like he's lost a step and he's are best skater by far.

I mean yeah, I like speed, but I want talent, guys who can create/score/drive play. Toro & Joseph have excellent speed, but don't produce.

I watched some of Ivars clips and I would take him almost for sure.

We are probably stuck with Buch but Kryou, Schenn, Faulk, ans Binner all need to go.

I can guess why he got the nickname "Carlos"...

His name is hard to know how to pronounce, and if you hang "Carlos" on him, it's easy to remember and close enough. Plus the guys that save your A out there need a good old time dependable name like "Carlos".

What we need is a stud C with a high compete, high hockey IQ and all the skill to go along with it. If that's not available then an RD with size and high defensive skill level with enough offense to justify being a top 5 pick.

If you just look at the scores of all of our games this year, you can see a glaring shortage of offense on this team. You would think that an immediate injection of offense is the first solution to the problem. If we can get a top 5 pick, we should be able to choose a competent offensive player. That, along with some of the prospects we have in the pipeline, should be a good start in the process.

This.
We've spent years turning Thomas into a great 2c. That Army couldn't/wouldn't get.
We need that 1c.
Which usually takes a top 3 pick. But it can be found elsewhere. We would just need to pick a chance and not another sure thing safe power grinder.
Getting defense should be done in other rds.
