This. It was a dirty play. Stone knew he had his leg and then "finished" his check by driving broberg down and not to the side. It was a takedown move to the ice and not a check into the boards.
It’s like you can’t even watch with your own eyes and understand physics.
Broberg’s momentum took his legs forward as his upper body faced resistance. He was off his feet from that. It’s there for you to watch. Nobody thinks it was dirty guy. The league never even looked at it. No penalty … obviously
Broberg got pasted on his face from a powdery every day hit. Tucker on Dorofeyev … that was dirty

While I totally agree with this not being a dirty hit at all, calling it powdery every day hit is just your typical anti Blues defensemen not named Pietroangelo rhetoric

It was well timed…but this was a garden variety hit. Nothing hard about it. Broberg was totally unprepared. That’s on him. It’s his fault.
Come playoffs one day, Broberg is going to get targeted … repeatedly…he better work on a lot of things or he’s going to get badly hurt again
The bad part of this hit was Brobergs entire body not being able to go down evenly. His lower body was being checked into the boards, which allowed his upper body to go down first. Stone was laying into Brobergs upper body on the way down, so it was an accelerated push downward by Stone. It was fast, so Broberg didn't have enough time to control how he landed, and he wacked his head hard onto the ice. I don't like it either but none of that constituded a penalty according to the NHL. It stands out because it was Stone, and he's one of those guys with a proven bad reputation.

No lol. Watch the video
His upper body faces resistance while momentum takes his legs up

It’s basic physics
That's what I saw. I know Stone has a reputation, but I don't think there was any intent to injure there. Looked like a clean check with an unfortunate fall.

Except for the part where stone lifts his leg with his leg.

Wasn’t even really a hit. He rubbed him out. Pretty pathetic actually for a guy with man strength.
When your leg gets swept out from under you and you fall directly on your head onto a sheet of ice it can cause head injuries.
That is completely correct. It's on the video. The hit wasn't dirty, it was just a freak thing and Broberg was pinned in such a way that he couldn't put his hands down to brace his fall. The hit could have happened to anyone....but it doesn't fit the trolls narrative so you just have to move on and ignore the multiple threads that she will start on the topic.
