Who can explain Texier
Who can explain why Texier is producing? He's matching the production of Caulfield with fewer minutes.
How many other "Texiers" are on our bench locked in the same cement jello?

I’ve got to stop coming to this forum. Until the mods decide it’s worth their time to put an end to the obvious trolling and bull[shirt] losers inundating the forum everyday with the same [redacted] inane drivel, it’s just a waste of time.
Thanks for ruining this place for us ya sack of [shirt]. Be proud.

I equate it to racing cars. One type is a drag race. Straight line, no turns. That is the Habs.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 07:07 am Who can explain why Texier is producing? He's matching the production of Caulfield with fewer minutes.

The other is running in heels and and a long flowing dress, and it is a drag to race that way. Wrong style for Tex

There's really 2 of them...and they could not care less about the forum.Backesdraft wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 07:14 am I’ve got to stop coming to this forum. I don't doubt you, but I'm struggling with picturing Buchnevich in heels and a long-flowing dress. Kyrou, yes. Buch, no.

Sorry that my love for the Blues is killing your love for the forum. It's quite unintentional.dhsux wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 07:20 amThere's really 2 of them...and they could not care less about the forum.Backesdraft wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 07:14 am I’ve got to stop coming to this forum. Smelly, you need some additional hobbies, other than constantly posting on here.
You know the answer, so no need to make posts daily for the next several months. Texier is playing with Caufield and Suzuki. End of story. Two incredibly dynamic players that make others around them better. Texier is skilled and always has been, and he finally fell into a perfect situation. Good for him.
Oh, and just to take this off the table:
Caufield - 15th overall pick
Suzuki - 13th overall

Well great, Army specifically said he hates picking 13th and 15th in the draftFrank Underwood wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 08:09 am Smelly, you need some additional hobbies, other than constantly posting on here.

Skating with #13 and #15 provides a significant advantage over skating with #20 and #26 and #35 and #75.
Who wants to tell Army?
Re: Who can explain Texier
Give it 50-70 games and see where he's at. Sanford looked great for small stretches as well.

I guess we are ignoring the fact that texier himself never showed up? He finally got a situation that he wanted and hes ACTUALLY trying. Thats not on anyone but texier.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 08:32 amMoral of the Story:Frank Underwood wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 08:09 am Smelly, you need some additional hobbies, other than constantly posting on here.

Probably should post this question in a Blue Jackets forum and see what they come up with too.

You know it's absolutely hilarious. We have no issues calling the #13 overall pick a #1 center but we say the #20 pick from that exact same draft is a complimentary #2 center.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 08:32 amMoral of the Story:Frank Underwood wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 08:09 am Smelly, you need some additional hobbies, other than constantly posting on here.

Who wants to tell Army?
here are their numbers
500-152-271-423=.87 ppg
508-118-311-429=.85 ppg (his numbers would be better if his linemates could actually hit the net regularly)
Huh looks like the exact same player if you ask me, so how can one be a #1 center and the other be a 2nd line center?
Now for the other two
332-139-122-261=.79 ppg
452-158-192-350=.78 ppg
so now how is the #15 overall "so much better" than the #35? Up until this year they both have essentially had the exact same career arc.
Kyrou does have more games played but many of those were on the 3rd line averaging 10-12 minutes a game. When he started playing 14-16 minutes a game he started averaging a ppg.
Oh and they all make essentially the exact same money with similar years remaining on their contracts.
So it appears that the problem was Texier, not the Blues. We all saw how he would disappear for games when given the opportunity to play with Thomas and Kyrou. For some reason he simply didn't click here, and you know what sometimes that simply happens.

Sometimes, people who speak French as their native language thrive when relocated to a city that speaks... French.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑12 Jan 2026 08:55 amYou know it's absolutely hilarious. Re: Who can explain Texier
I would say, who cares? In the Blues current situation the Blues are better served by playing Snuggerud, Stenberg, Neighbours over giving a roster spot to a guy like Texier who didnt really fit in for Monty here. At the moment today maybe Texier looks better than Kyrou but Texier wasnt pushing Kyrou and his 30+ goal seasons out of a roster spot. So again good for Texier, moving on.
