If you watch closely Buch and Kyrou do make some good "small" plays- stealing pucks, keeping pucks in the Ozone, even backchecking because they do have skill. But that does not make up for the lack of offensive production including shots (not attempts.) We could stand one of the sucking but with both of them plus Thomas' play inconsistent we are really up the creek. If Monty and his team can't figure out a way to get more actual shots on goal we have no hope.

I'm an old fart too, been here from the start. So I'll chime in on the worst team thing for what it's worth. We were an expansion team, and back then the league wasn't doing us any favors. But we were still like one of the best worst teams. We kept making the playoffs because somebody had to, so we had some very bad teams back then. In the years between then and now we've had a few clunkers too. There were definately worst teams than this one. As a lot of folks here have said, I just believe it's so bad because this team should in no way be this bad. But from the coaches to us fans, we can't figure out what is wrong. JMO
