Broberg out? Who fills in?
I’m really surprised we haven’t see Rosen. I guess we are letting our prospect Mailloux work out the issues. So who fills in if Broberg is out for some games. Kessel?
Re: Broberg out? Who fills in?
Others on here know more about the players in Springfield than I, but why not give the Lindstein kid a shot?
At least he'll get some real-time exposure and education to reinforce whatever he should be working to develop. I'm open to becoming better informed.

I agree, if there's roster space available, now's a good time to insert Lindstein. I'd also be fine just moving Fowler up with Parayko and rolling with what we've got until Broberg returns. I think, like Dvorsky and Stenberg, once Lindstein is here, he's here to stay.

Re: Broberg out? Who fills in?
Anyone who needs a look to see what we’ve got. We know what we have in Kessel. So, what about Lindstein, Loof, or Skinner? Knowing this team, it will be Rosen. He’s probably the best bet for a chance to win some games, given his experience, but it’s a missed opportunity to give some guys a look.
With that said, hope they just kept Bro out as a precaution and he’s back soon. My guess is that he was woozy after hitting his head on the ice.

Don't see how it could not be a concussion. After watching the video more I don't think it was a dirty hit or slew foot but given that it is Stone you could and probably should assume it was. Either way glad Schenner got after him. Schenner seems to have a new system where he gets the helmets off the opponent right away which is smart if you don't want to damage your hand.
Re: Broberg out? Who fills in?
He's learned and grown as a fighter in this league. Manages to diminish damage taken and has learned some tricks to help himself deal some pain or otherwise punish the opponent.hotrivets wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:27 am Don't see how it could not be a concussion. It’s 100% concussion.hotrivets wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:27 am Don't see how it could not be a concussion. They aren’t all the same though in terms of outcome. Hopefully he will recover quickly.

He has to…..he’s a middle weight and gets killed if he doesn’t fight smart. He’s got guts/heart, I’ll give him that for sure.zamadoo wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:35 amHe's learned and grown as a fighter in this league. Thanks for sharing, wasn't able to catch the game. Yeah the helmet's off before the camera focuses in, and Schenner's got him tied up where he wants him for some rights to land on skin.hotrivets wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:39 amYeah he got Tanev's off quick also.zamadoo wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:35 amHe's learned and grown as a fighter in this league. He was whaling on him. Stone is lucky the linesmen stepped in. I would have liked another minute or so but Schenn looked pretty winded.zamadoo wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:50 amThanks for sharing, wasn't able to catch the game. While I would be surprised if it’s not a concussion, the bleedr 100% guarantee gives me a little bit of hope that it’s less serioustheograce wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:40 amIt’s 100% concussion.hotrivets wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:27 am Don't see how it could not be a concussion. Re: Broberg out? Who fills in?
I had one from a bike accident and was seriously out of it that day. By the next day I could resume activities except for riding the bike- was too banged up for that. I imagine it is WAY worse for a pro athlete who has physical demands and has to make split second decisions.fish wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 12:09 pmWhile I would be surprised if it’s not a concussion, the bleedr 100% guarantee gives me a little bit of hope that it’s less serioustheograce wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:40 amIt’s 100% concussion.hotrivets wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:27 am Don't see how it could not be a concussion. No long term effects for me that I can tell- except for being on this forum.

It wasn’t a bad hit. At all.hotrivets wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 11:27 am Don't see how it could not be a concussion. The fact that Stone was forced to fight over that was embarassing. Maybe Broberg should use that 6’4 frame to defend against hits like that.
Re: Broberg out? Who fills in?
It’s the same Broberg that 160 pound Binnington had to step in and defend last year.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑11 Jan 2026 12:32 pmIt wasn’t a bad hit. It’s an issue…and the biggest hurdle for Broberg moving forward for his development

Have to bring up Lindstein, let him get a feel for NHL game(speed and intensity) so he will have a better chance of making the team next year
