Where did I say that?

I didn’t say it wasn’t a good trade for the franchise, but 2 1’s and a 2C is a lot to pay for a guy like Schenn.

Also, 300 less games is disingenuous. Lehtera was a professional player in Europe for 4 or 5 seasons before he came over. And considering how Europeans do against the North Americans, I’d argue there’s not much of a drop off.

you can trade schenn yes. Until end of season you could bring up a few different guys who are capable of roughing up the opposition if thats the concern. Respect the fact that he doesn't let nonsense fly, but that's part of the territory.

And who would that be?

If you want a warm body who does 4th line work and you don't care if he gets suspended or misconducts, McGing.

If you want someone with a bit more game, Peterson.

If you want a Defensemen who isn't afraid to give it to someone because Broberg is out for anything week to week or longer that you can IR him for the roster spot, Skinner.

We don't have someone who is a pure fighter and nothing else (and those days imo are gone so we shouldn't have one), but we have 3 or 4 that can very easily do what is needed.
