It’s different though. He’s just not there yet.

I think it was a mistake not resignimg Ryan Suter. I really helped stablized Tucker alot last season. Might be better ti have a vet like that? Fowler hasnt looked good with him and Tucker is worse with him.

Fowler from what I can tell plays best with CP55 but both are struggling this year.

I think he’s been steadily improving, less mistakes, turnovers , he makes some skill plays every game and plays with an edge. I’m more concerned with Fowler.

The Blues personnel that told us that Mailloux was ready when we traded for him should not be in the NHL.

Mailloux was not nearly an unknown to the hockey world. Even most Montreal fans could tell that he wasnt ready. Now most Blues fans say the same thing.

Congrats Blues fans. You know more than Army.

I doubt that anyone would of said that. If Army didn't have a Boner for him.
Almost Every player Army and Company have talked about wanting to draft or get. We get and we give a ton for them.

What's clear is camp means nothing. When Army needs stats.

That’s why I don’t believe the story we were told on why they made the move. Our scouts don’t miss this bad. Something happened with Bolduc and they wanted him gone at all costs.

I hope so. Army claiming the Blues always wanted him since the draft kind of goes against that though.

Mailloux looks fine to me lately he was pretty smooth last night moves the puck well no worries stick with the plan. It does seem like he's playing afraid to make a mistake there were a couple games where he played with more reckless abandon and looked much better. He needs reps he's going to be fine

I believe that what clouded Army's vision is the likely failure of Jiricek. He didn't want to exit the GM chair without have some kind of young body in the top RHD role. Jiricek, was and still is, a major question mark. Mailloux is insurance that Army has at least one new Pietrangelo at his going-away party.

There is a bigger question than should Mailloux be in the NHL right now.

Is Mailloux ever going to be able to replace Parayko or Faulk? We don't need another 3rd-liner. We have plenty of those. Giving up Bolduc in return for something we don't need is the more grave mistake. "Dabbling with Mailloux" may have just set the Blues back another 2 years in finding youth to replace Parayko and Faulk.

Trading Faulk now and getting the most value for him in trade MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE if Mailloux will never be capable enough.

I thought Jiricek "was and still is, a major question mark" because of his health, not because of his skill.

Maybe but it seemed pretty obvious that whatever deal(s) they had for Kyrou fell through yet again and when the clock finally struck zero on his NTC all of the RHD targets were gone and they panic traded for Mailloux.

Bolduc just happened to be the poor prospect now stuck behind the immovable Kyrou on the depth chart.

Again just really poor plan B management from Armstrong (eg. Pietrangelo, Tkachuk, Kyrou)

I thought he had a strong game last night. Kept it simple. There’s other D I much more concerned about. We’ll have a better idea what Mailloux will develop into next year after he’s had a full season under his belt.
