5 shots....again. How tf can they expect to win playing like this? I would think a guy in Thomas's spot would get 4 or 5 shots a period...by himself.

Raise your hand of your ok with a Blue cross checking a Knight in the face even if it means a 5 min major and a loss. You'd feel good wouldn't you

I’d settle for a crosscheck to Stones back or spleen. I think those were his two LTIR miraculous recoveries.

If it was stone 100%. thats the 3rd questionable hit he's made on a blues player, with 2 of the 3 being dirty. The Bozak one coming to mind really fast.

If stone gets in front of the net i am hoping binner just slashes the daylights out of his ankle/knee.

Speed is the only thing he wanted. Speedy offensive defenders and speedy “outcasts” other teams don’t want. Filled in the 4th line with speedy hitters and that was it.
For building a speedy team there sure are a lot of slow players on it.
A bunch of speedy players together doesn’t = fast hockey when the speedy players aren’t very good.

I’ll take slow, skilled, and gritty players over a fast/soft one that flashes skill when he’s not afraid or finds motivation

Saad was the other I believe. Now on Vegas and probably hates Stone more than anything. Saad is ready to retire

Outshot 12-5. But the real problem is the players gave themselves no momentum. We put only a little pressure in the offensive zone and get stuck in our own zone by not quite having enough effort to clear the puck, leaving Vegas in the zone to fire away.

Nothing wrong with Binner so far. Again, I’m against not using a Fabbri or a Joseph of even Kessel when you want your team to block more shots and have faster skaters on a back to back game.

I have no problem with Thomas tonight but he’s had no help
Buch and Kyrou and even Snuggerud for not bearing down and getting a shot on the hole at least so the others can rush in and try some disruption. We make it darn easy on the other team’s goalie. Sad

I would love to see Twist in his prime go after Stone. Massacre, no doubt.

The blues looked good the first 10 minutes. In fact I was about to say it’s the best 4 periods of hockey in a row they have played as far as intensity goes. But they then started icing the puck left and right

Would like to have seen Joseph in for Walker or Sunny. His speed on the forecheck is noticeable when he plays.

We literally don’t have anyone on this team with balls to do it. I’d think Armstrong is ashamed at what he assembled watching this but I doubt he’s watching. Probably on a “scouting trip” in the Swiss Alps

Agree with you guys on most of this. The second half of the period was horrible and we spent way too much time in our zone and the icing were ridiculous, especially after winning two face offs,
I don’t want to hear much about the fighting because we need scoring not fighting. Schenn I was interviewed between periods and says that Stone is not a dirty player. He definitely is very big and tough, but let’s just try to score and take and take a lead

I can see why Monty wanted to sign Quasimoto. Please bring Twist back for the next Vegas game. He was a monster, ask Rob Ray.

Strick just said Stone out for the rest of the game. Wonder if Schenner broke a couple of bones in his face. Those were some pretty solid hits, back to back to back.
