Holloway

What do you offer him? Seems to be constantly hurt but has potential, glad I'm not having to try and figure out what kind of extension to offer.

It’s hard. I’d look at bridge, despite the risk. Risk goes both ways. Same with Broberg. Earn the dollars and term

There’s a very good change Holloway is hurt often. He only plays one way and thats what makes him effective.

My concern is will Holloway's talent be diminished by injuries? Early this season he clearly wasn't the same as before he was hurt last season. Understandable, and he was beginning to get back the quickness and separation speed. Let's see how he rebounds from this latest injury before making long-term commitments.

Broberg you sign. Lock him up.

I think you have to give him a bridge deal and hope he makes you regret it. There are just too many questions about how he’ll be longterm right now.

Agree that a two-year bridge is really the best way to go. His UFA year is summer 2029, so that would work.

My question is, what does that bridge deal look like? My sense of "fair value" has gotten warped since the cap has gone up a fair amount after being relatively stable for a while. $5m-$6m a year for two years?

Yep, I'd do something similar, and maybe not even offer that until he looks remotely close to last year's form AFTER he returns from this latest injury.

Just too big a risk at this point, especially because his injuries are flukey.
