That’s why I would like to see several of the other young guys in Springfield get a little time with the Blues. They get a sense of what the NHL is all about and how much faster it is, and then the AHL seems easier to them. It should help them be better at the NHL level on the next call up either later this year or next season.

His success is why we need to keep giving them a taste. They need to get acclimated to the speed of the game at the NHL level. When they go back down, they make quicker decisions and are more confident. Keep rotating them through.
