Nice blind pass thomas.
Re: GDT: Blues at Mammoth 8:00 FanDuel
Thankfully we took a penalty because only the Blues have a better chance 4 on 4 than 5 on 4.

Well, only down 1 after 2. Given us a chance in the 3rd.
Thomas, Kyrou and Neighbors showed some life late in that period.

Was just talking to my dad about that yesterday regarding Thomas. Hockey is so secretive about injuries, it hurts the players’ reputations. Currently it looks like Thomas has no heart. Imagine finding out he was playing through broken ribs or something. Totally different perception of his character.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 21:24 pmHe has to have an injury that's preventing him from being able to take a slap shot and yet, this worthless f'n organization refuses to sit him because they're in love with 55 more than anyone else. There's no other explanation at this point.

Kyrou’s best shift in a month. So frustrating when you see that and then wonder why it doesn’t happen more often.ScalesofJustice wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 21:46 pm Well, only down 1 after 2. Given us a chance in the 3rd.

18 is definitely hurt. You can tell by his compete effort. I was near the ice at the last home game and saw him wince a couple of times during the game.Absolut wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 21:46 pmWas just talking to my dad about that yesterday regarding Thomas. He’s not even practicing most off days. Usually a “maintenance” day. He was originally hurt during the last pre season game. Not sure if it’s the same issue or not, but he’s been dinged up all season.JR1 wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 21:49 pm18 is definitely hurt. You can tell by his compete effort. That was an interesting stat. 4 on 4 after a half season we’ve neither given up a goal nor scored a goal.
I was just writing my grandkids that we do have a chance of the game now because we’re only down by one.
Still gave up these two on one chances that they scored two on. Again it’s like nobody knows who’s supposed to take the man. Nobody blocked the puck anymore. And that’s why we miss a player like Matthieu Joseph. He blocks a lot of shots.
I’d like to see Walker get more ice time too. And where is Torpo? Yeah, I like see more energy lines. I mean, it’s really good that Thomas and Snuggerud and Buchnevich connected, but that was a rare play because the other team was fatigued from being on the ice too long.
We’re only down by one so let’s hope for the best

Defensemen don't need to blast it. Just throw it at the net and take a chance. It doesn't have to be a stick breaking 100mph slapper....just throw it at the net...see what happens. Most important thing is just getting your shot past the first defender guy covering you. Put it on net.

That line is getting a lot of offensive zone time putting pressure on Utah.
