Re: Tonights line up, but lines are wrong
I would like to see the revised lineup play. It would be very interesting, and maybe a lot of fun, to watch.
Re: Tonights line up, but lines are wrong
In addition to his mixer Monty changes the playing time in-game so the first line, second line, etc. doesn't mean much. I like the idea of switching things mid game but I don't know that it does a lot of good sometimes.

How many times do they need to see Thomas and kyrou play together before they realize they have zero chemistry?

Re: Tonights line up, but lines are wrong
If you’re gonna try it, then put the original 3 all back together and give them ONE last chance before pulling the trigger on a major move.
Stenberg - Dvorsky - Berggren
Neighbours - Schenn - Snuggs
Buch - Thomas - Kyrou ($24.26m needs to produce!)
Toropchenko - Sundqvist - Walker (JOSEPH)

Good call. not only needs to produce, but should be able to.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 15:49 pmIf you’re gonna try it, then put the original 3 all back together and give them ONE last chance before pulling the trigger on a major move.

At the very least we consolidate so the rest of the lines are unaffected

I’ve been enjoying the solid play, and chemistry of the Swedish-speaking line as much as anyone.
First line matchups would add a greater challenge, that’s for sure.

They said he does on one of the recent broadcasts. I can’t remember the reference on why, but apparently he does.DawgDad wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 17:25 pmQuibble, but does Dvorsky speak Swedish??Harry York 37 wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 16:04 pm I’ve been enjoying the solid play, and chemistry of the Swedish-speaking line as much as anyone.

"Yes, NHL prospect Dalibor Dvorský learned to speak Swedish fluently after moving to Sweden from Slovakia at a young age.
He became fluent in the language from living there for many years, even being described as practically a "good Swedish citizen" by his general manager. Dvorský also speaks his native Slovak and English, making him a polyglot who speaks four languages in total. "

And English without much of an accent.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 18:56 pmHe lived and played in Sweden from the age of 9.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026 18:40 pmThey said he does on one of the recent broadcasts. Re: Tonights line up, but lines are wrong
If you were trying to trade Thomas, would you want the trading partners to see Thomas demoted?
Not saying that that is what is going on here, but.... the lines we are seeing may be influenced by other things, not just production.
