How about Buchnevich on a top line? You mean being with good players helps? Just not him?
Try to stay on topic.

This wasn't about 89. We can all agree he is an albatross.
But it is on topic. I mean 6 points in 2 games is helped by playing with solid players. Thats really brilliant

This is spot on.

It also helps to have a defender like Hutson that can contribute in a significant way offensively.
Just to note, Bolduc was pulled off the Suzuki line way before Texier showed up. There's something in Bolduc's game that isn't working.
It's amazing that Texier is outpacing Bolduc.

Personally I thought in his very limited ice time this year that he played well. Seemed to make something happen every game for a scoring chance. Also seen him try to throw some hits and play aggressive when on the 3rd and 4th lines. Was thinking I must not be seeing things correctly when he got waved.

Texier looked good the first few games last year under Bannister before he got injured.

He never really managed to get his place back.

He's playing on a top line with players who are very good. Im not surprised he is doing well.

We won a cup with Zach Sanford on our 1st line .... doesnt make Zach Sanford a top line player.

It would be amazing if at 24 years old Broberg was on the same quality of team as the '13-'14 Blues team that had a 24 year old Pietrangelo, 111 pts. Shatty, Jbow, Jackman, Polak. Shatty actually led that team in playoff scoring vs the Hawks only 1 goal and 5pts in 6 games, not much of a playoff run for a pretty good team

So for Broberg vs Pietrangelo

Brobie:
Age
23 68 8 21 29 +21
24 44 2 12 14 0

AP
23 47 5 19 24 0
24 81 8 43 51 +20

What do you want to bet that next season Broberg will have a better year than AP did at 25??

I felt like he was always in and out of the lineup and never got an extended look to find a groove while others got that luxury.

Probably cuz Sunny was always in the right place and Buch is “so good” defensively.

It doesnt matter at this point for the Blues Stenberg, Snuggerud, Dvorsky all need to be in the line up vs a guy like Texier.

But we still have Sunny! I knew he had talent. The Blues cannot evaluate talent. They love slow grinders

Honestly, good for him! I'm pretty sure I could score 20 playing with Suzuki and Caufield. I mean, even Buch could probably put a few in playing with those guys!
