Buchnevich makes no effort to impede that Hawk.

Joke.
Why bother?
Not sure. But it all looked dumb on the bench.

Dude is playing big minutes every night and has 4 shots on goal, 3 blocks and no hits in the last 7 games. Why doesn't he ever get benched? Any AHL player can come up and outproduce his numbers with that TOI when he's sulking and being a loser.

Kyrou/Thomas being centerpieces of a NHL team is downright hilarious.
Pretty sure he's playing hurt. Not sure why the rest of the team looks like they dont give a [fork].
Thomas has been hurt all season and my guess would be when they fall out if it, he will be shut down.
22:13 in their last game. Can’t be that hurt
That absolutely doenst mean he isn't hurt.

I subscribe to the theory that if you are out there you have to produce. Injury or not. If, and it's a big if he is hurt I don't care. If you dress, you produce.
I said it doesn’t meant he’s that hurt. Lots of guys play hurt all the time
That is true.

It's a tough league. It's even tougher when you are literally the one single guy they look to in order to create any offense. If he doesn't get three points a night he is a bum. With almost no support.

But, Ive beaten the 18 drum enough. If folks think he is the problem then so be it. That would be wrong but so be it.
Lots more goes into it than points. His attitude and engagement have been poor. Where’s the leadership … don’t see it. It’s back to what Berube called him out for

Hooray for Nathan for heading toward the net and connecting with the puck

I stay up for that. To see each Blues goal

Look at the slugs he has on the wing. Neither can create anything. As a matter of fact, Thomas surprises them with some great passes. 89 muffs most everything. 18 is not the problem.

As bad as Binnington has been tonight does anyone want to bet against him in the Olympics. Just like the 4 nations he will have a pretty good team in front of him.

Throw in the defenders that do nothing to support or create any offense and you end up wasting a very talented player in Thomas.

Is he McKinnon? Of course not. But he is a heck of a player doing it by himself.

I don't care if he "commands" the room or not. Find somebody else to toss tables over after a loss. Anybody can do that. Not many do what 18 does.

Nobody on this team is tossing tables.

Sad day for the blues. Goalie stinks. No scoring. Weak effort. Poor. Bright spot 3rd line.

3 goals gets you at least an OT loss if hofer is in net.
