Tim the assassin sees a white car across the desert and knows that Willa is in it? This is the car she randomly stole after Deus Ex Machina #2.
This is kind of ruining my ability to settle in and enjoy the "greatest car chase ever filmed."

He's a superhuman hitman, but "funny" because he's so dorky and unassuming in his intro scene. I thought that was obvious

I'd have to re-watch, which costs money. But maybe that was the only car in the desert. At any rate, the cinematography of that 'chase' was memorable.

This film was a farce, a black comedy cultural metaphorical romp. One could 'easily over-analyze' it. :)

Does Tim just drive around the desert, chasing anyone he sees?

As for over-analyzing, I'm just watching what's on the screen. Maybe you're under-analyzing. :)

Who cares? It's just nice to have decent movies being made for a change.

He told a good story. You can nitpick any movie if you try.

The irony of you disallowing any criticism of OBAA after saying all that about Sinners...

Regarding your spoiler/question:
Spoiler
Not sure if the Christmas Adventurer Club’s assassin was 100% aware of Willa being in that car, but he had knowledge of that car belonging to the Tracker, so it and whoever was driving became one of his targets to “make it clean” At least, that was my take-away.

I didn't disallow any criticism. That's just a stupid thing to get hung up on when it was a very well made movie. Sinners is one of the worst pieces of garbage I have ever seen.

Thanks. That's still thin, sloppy storytelling IMO, but I guess it explains why
Spoiler
Tim comes out of his wrecked car looking like he has no idea who Willa is. Which he shouldn't, because he's never seen her before.

He was sent to kill her so he probably had an idea of who she was.

I finally watched this movie last night, and really enjoyed it. I thought the acting was great, and that it kept me engaged, although it was a tad long I thought.

Funny thing is, regarding this post (which I didn't read before hand), I thought the exact same thing. How did he get to the hideout place, see the situation, and then know that car was gone? Was it just an assumption?

Todd-Parker - I think there is some truth to your post, makes some sense.

Benicio del Toro was great! Who doesn't need a buddy to bail you out, show up with beers, and take a selfie because he's so happy. ha ha

The part of the film that fascinates me is not the bona fides of the 'chase scene', but the vicious hooligan feds out-o-control stuff.

I'd have much preferred a movie more about Sergio's fight against out-of-control ICE agents and less about Bob's password, pot-smoking nuns, etc.

The combination of the disturbing, ripped-from-the-headlines images of brown people being rounded up like Jews in the 1930s and the zany, Boomer stoner comedy just did not work for me. At all.
