Exactly. That’s one of the best front courts in the country. Florida’s problem is they don’t have guards like Clayton Jr back there this season. They’re still really good, but not what they were.

What a nice win and a fun game to watch. This team looks completely different with Stone and Pierce. Would be nice to at least be competitive in SEC play.

Arky fans were thrilled to lose Boogie to Florida. Don't know why Golden thought he would be a good replacement for 1 of the 3 guards he lost -- Clayton, Richards and Aberdeen. Glad he did!

Mizzou played themselves a heck of a game today. The return of Pierce and Stone definitely had an impact. Burns looked good, and confident, in his minutes, which should continue to grow. Some things stood out: the Tigers took a punch in the jaw from Florida the first few minutes but didn't break, they just kept coming back; they also finished the game, not fading when Fla. came back late; the defense was pretty darn good.

Just like the Illinois disaster, this was only one game, but it showed there may be more to this team than previously thought. Now if gates and his staff will double down the work on free throw shooting, really pound that in. It would have been a tragedy if their failure at the foul line had ended up costing them the game after an otherwise impressive showing.

I watched the end of the game today. Tell the truth who thought that he would make that 3 pointer after the missed free throws? I know that I did, I even told my wife and after the miss she said I was being pessimistic but I told her I was being realistic and that it seems to happen to the Tigers way too often.
