Careful. Some 'round these parts will say you're not deserving of fanhood for those kind of remarks.

Is Sunny hurt? He had 2 points yesterday and sitting today
Re: GDT: Les Habs at Blues 3:00 FanDuel
Just a guess but probably a maintenance day. I didn't see any injury yesterday.

Blues website quoted Monty who said it’s a maintenance day. Sunny’s logged a lot of time in the last few days. And like me, he ain’t no kid anymore.

8 shots on goal in 1st period. A modest improvement, but still not enough.
I don’t consider it a good period with fewer than 13 shots. I base that strictly on average NHL save percentage. 39 shots in a game should get you about 4 goals on average.

Binnington really saved the momentum with the pads.
That was a flurry there. Montreal only had about two shots till then and ended with 8 just like us.
Also, they said that Montreal has been scoring 3 1/2 goals of game so expect a big big surge so one goal is never enough for us as it is

Binny looks better so far. Hope he and his teammates makes my Habs winning prediction wrong!
Still 2 purriods to go, however.
Old Gus Kyle used to pronounce it “purriods” rather than periods. He used to also call the Boston team “Broonz”. My neighbor was a teacher in the Hazelwood School District and a hockey fan and she used to complain about Big Gus’s pronunciations and grammar!

yeah, a one-goal lead for the Blues is skating on very thin ice (pun intended)Russdv14 wrote: ↑03 Jan 2026 16:03 pm Binnington really saved the momentum with the pads.

oh my
Snuggerud snipes Schenn's face
Schenn falls and then gets right up. Looks like maybe it actually hit him below the face.
That was a nice shift by Snuggerud - picked their pocket in the defensive zone and moved it up ice, then maintained possession in the ozone.

Really liking Snuggerud. He's flying out there, making plays.
