The calendar has turned; time for the playoff run

Post by BrummerStealsHome »

Yes, I said playoffs

For some reason this club often seems to wait until January to start playing decent hockey. Fire up the Wild Card Watch.

I know it’s a meaningless stat, but it’s weird to me. The Blues have the 4th worst record in hockey, but are 8th in the entire league in regulation wins. So strange.

Loved toropchenkos attitude in the post game interview. I wish more guys on the team had that attitude

RWs is the most meaningful stat you can find to properly measuring a team’s performance on the season. There is nothing about 3 on 3/SO that resembles real hockey but the NHL loves to have so many teams in the hunt so they give the same points for OTW and a point if you lose bc it’s not a real loss

At least the first tie breaker is RWs. That’s proof of its importance.

The Blues are the 8th best team performance wise this season. People on these boards cry after 3 on 3 losses like it’s a real loss and that Army should blow it up every time….pathetic

That was a great interview. I'd never seen him interviewed before. He's got some personality.

That was pure gold. Inspiration to the fans and to his teammates.
4th line, low salary, decent penalty killer, disruptive forechecker, fantastic example for others. I'll assume he is a positive factor in the locker room and practice, if nothing else by the example/message of his actions. Every team benefits from a balanced lineup with that kind of player.
