Sugar Bowl Predictions
Georgia favored by about 6.5-7.0.
My pick: Georgia comes back in the 4th quarter to win by 7.
A Georgia / Indiana games sounds interesting.

I’m pulling for Ole Miss. Would love them to win despite Kiffin.
I know this: SEC will get a win in this one.

I honestly don’t know how the officials could miss that face mask where Lacy about had his head spun around. Costly no call, could cost Ole Miss this game. That’ll be talked about postgame.
Re: Sugar Bowl Predictions
Lot of 'Bark Boys' crying in their beer now. Who would of thought a shootout? UGA defense disappeared. What the refs did at the end was totally 'tarded.

Makes you stop and think there was something going on.
Re: Sugar Bowl Predictions
would love to watch this game again -- 2 just not enough.... this is why we love SEC football!!
Re: Sugar Bowl Predictions
Down goes Georgia! The ball knew. The football gods knew. And the cheating refs should have known better than to miss an obvious face mask call against Georgia and to throw a flag on a not so obvious PI against Ole Miss on 4th down. They tried to give Georgia the game, and the pathetic Bulldogs couldn't even punch it in after having 2nd and goal at the 2.
What a day when both Alabama and Georgia go down along with Texas Tech. No hated teams for me left in the playoffs. Indiana looks like a title team, but who knows at this point? But they are the only bye team to win a playoff game in the first two years of the CFP.

Good CFP day for me. Oregon, Indiana and Ole Miss won their games.
Re: Sugar Bowl Predictions
That hit on Stockton was crazy

Georgia was allowed to pass interfere ad infinitum and still lost!
Re: Sugar Bowl Predictions
Going to agree both of the late 4th quarter PI calls against Miss almost changed the outcome of the game....one being actually called on the wrong team/player imo and the other very tacky for the moment in time.
Did I hear right that those were B10 refs?

Some real crazy officiating! Those poor people who had to keep setting up the trophy platforms! Ridiculous! Did you notice that the Sugar Bowl president had stolen the Dutch Boy's wig?
Was there an anti-SEC bias? Bama had to play OU thus eliminating one SEC team (then they had to play the #1 seed). Then UGA played Ole Miss eliminating another. No B1G teams played each out until the semi's guaranteeing at least one B1G team makes the final. Just sayin'.

There was no guarantee Oregon would win two games.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑02 Jan 2026 08:53 am Some real crazy officiating! Those poor people who had to keep setting up the trophy platforms! Ridiculous! Did you notice that the Sugar Bowl president had stolen the Dutch Boy's wig?

With five SEC teams and only one bye, it was hard for them to avoid each other.
Re: Sugar Bowl Predictions
I don't think so, especially because Bama was a bubble team. I think the teams were seeded close to correctly and the chips fell where they may. And Okie showed they didn't even belong, losing convincingly to Bama who then proceeded to get obliterated by Indiana. There is now little doubt in my mind that the SEC is down. The fact that the SEC even got 5 teams in shows me if there were any bias, it was pro-SEC.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑02 Jan 2026 08:53 am Some real crazy officiating! Re: Sugar Bowl Predictions
My 2 cents is, top to bottom the SEC is the best conference hands down. But it’s not quite as elite closer to the top. And in bowl season, it’s a simple matter of matchups and SEC just not getting the job done. That said, Ole Miss might finish #1 and I hope they do.icon wrote: ↑02 Jan 2026 12:53 pmI don't think so, especially because Bama was a bubble team.
