US Olympic Roster

I'm going to let those with more insight speak to this but where are Hutson and Robertson? And maybe Fox. What am I missing here other than my marbles. Does not make a ton of sense.

I know Army is getting raked over the coals for Binny but jeez, what is Guerin doing here.

Pretty (bleep) good goaltending group though.

Fox was terrible in 4 nations but no Hutson, Caufield and Robertson is gonna come back to haunt Guerin

Kind of like leaving Tage off of the 4 Nations roster. Always a couple of weird decisions that come back to bite them.

Hanifin makes it as the 8th d-man over Fox even though he is a lefty.
I suppose Guerin prefers the size of Noah.

Having Hughes this time might change their pairs.
It also cost Hutson any consideration.

Jones stock flew off the charts after his run last playoffs.
He also is familiar with Werenski from his CBJ days.

Even though Hughes and Faber are now NHL mates I still expect Sullivan to put Faber back with Slavin since they were so good a year ago.

Slavin-Faber
Hughes-McAvoy
Werenski-Jones
------------------------------
Sanderson
Hanifin

Thompson was a lock to make the team after his World Championship participation and heroics.
I still don’t love their forwards.
I would have taken Caufield over Miller, Nelson, or Trocheck.

I don’t trust Hellebuyck in big games.
The Yanks had a lot of goalies to choose from that didn’t get a sniff.
Demko, Daccord, Knight, & Wolf to name a handful.
