Will the Blues ever try taking the organ away again?

Post by bigtimegoal »

Something reminded me about that watching old games on youtube from 2002-03 and that silly rock version they used for a short time the jim Woodcock heavily defended. They had to bring the organ after goals back during the Canucks series they got so many complaints.

2007 they did that stupid "poll" on their website asking if you wanted the organ version of Blues go Marching in after goals or Gary Glitter. That only lasted a few days because they got SLAMMED with phone calls and emails. My ticket rep said the switchboard was getting clogged up and threats to not renew the following year. Few days later the Blues on the front page put a clip of a goal and organ saying they heard us "loud and clear" granted a few games they mixed that horrible rock version in.

I do prefer the 1996 to 2008 version with the synthesizer though. That was VERY loud depending on who was doing the sound board at the games controlling the in game sound.
