Yes, it is, but years ago a fan called a sports open line program on KMOX and said he heard the Cardinals had just traded for Don Kessinger. It proved to be true, and the fan announced it before Kessinger found out about the trade.

It's not out of the realm of possibilities, that is for sure. A random guy breaking a trade because he overheard Nolan Arenado going through bowel distress while on the phone with his agent is pretty fun.

Unfortunately it looks like this one is getting squashed before it got to "I saw AJ Burnett at the airport" level.
